Sophisticated Design & Management with Environmental Consciousness to promote Corporate Social Responsibility

The management team of AIA Central has made continuous efforts in developing social sustainability in an urban context with advanced green designs and emphasis on environmental consciousness in daily operations and maintenance. With the recognition awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council, AIA Central was assessed from six core perspectives including its sustainability and efficiency in water, energy, materials and resources usage, the indoor environmental quality, innovation in operations and sustainable site. AIA Central proved its capabilities in sustainable operations and management in all core perspectives.

From the architectural perspective, AIA Central is fabricated with low-e double-glazed glass curtain wall which can enhance the isolation of heat as well as maximise natural daylight to the interior. Furthermore, the central air-conditioning system, elevator system and electrical installations all comply with the international energy-efficiency guidelines. The management team maintains discipline in maximising the use of recycled materials and energy-efficient lighting system in daily operations. Situated at the core of the transportation hub, tenants are encouraged to travel through public transport which in turn eliminates the fuel consumption and the pollution from exhaust gas emissions.
